Landon has more than 15 years of public policy experience, handling matters related to technology and cryptocurrencies as well as broader, national policy topics. He spent more than eight years in senior roles on Capitol Hill, working both in the House and Senate, serving both in a personal office as well as a Congressional Committee.
Prior to Coin Center, Landon Zinda served as Counsel on the United States Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, covering fintech and cryptocurrency related issues. There he advised Senators and drafted cryptocurrency legislation on several topics, including stablecoins, market structure, and taxes.
Prior to the Senate Banking Committee, Landon was Legislative Director for now Majority Whip Tom Emmer, advising him on all federal policy matters. This included Whip Emmer’s role on the House Financial Services Committee and as co-chair of the Congressional Blockchain Caucus.
Landon is a member of the Maryland state bar, and a graduate of American University Washington College of Law and Gustavus Adolphus College. He is originally from Minnesota and hates the summers in Washington, D.C.
