Coin Center submitted this letter to the California State Assembly regarding AB 1326 Virtual Currency. The bill, which recently passed through committee, would establish a licensing regime for businesses dealing with digital currencies like Bitcoin and seeking to do business in the state. California, as a globally recognized hub for innovation, would benefit greatly from getting this legislation right.
