Second Letter to California State Assembly

A second letter regarding the California State Assembly's virtual currency bill.

Coin Center submitted this letter to the California State Assembly regarding AB 1326 Virtual Currency. The bill, which recently passed through the Assembly, would establish a licensing regime for businesses dealing with digital currencies like Bitcoin and seeking to do business in the state. California, as a globally recognized hub for innovation, would benefit greatly from getting this legislation right.
